The chain and setting are S925 sterling silver with an 18k gold layer, which is safe for most sensitive skin types including those with metal allergies. If you have a severe sensitivity, we'd recommend the rhodium finish — rhodium is one of the most un-reactive metals, making it the gentlest option for skin.
